As Union of Community Development Volunteers (UCDV), we are highly grateful for our partners in development; the European Union (EU) and German Government (GG) for the financial, technical and material support through the Civil Society in Uganda Support Programme (CUSP) which is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
Your invaluable support has led to the development of our new Strategic Plan (2022 – 2026) which was approved by the Board of Directors (BoDs) on 10th December 2021, organisational policies and procedures such as; Financial Policy and Procedures Manual which was approved in November 2021 and the Human Resource Policy and Procedures Manual approved in October 2021 as well as Resource Mobilisation Strategy.
Individual capacity development including; Training on lobbying and advocacy, Leadership training, Gender mainstreaming, Information Communication and Technology (ICT), Result Based Management (RBM), Financial Management (FM) and Internal Governance (IG) were also conducted to benefit our staff to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
We therefore, call upon all development partners to collaborate with us towards this noble cause in our bid to serve humanity and make a transformational and meaningful impact in the communities we serve in Uganda.
